This is a South Indian restaurant, situated in the grand old country house - Bonchurch Manor on the small island of Isle of Wight, on the southern tip of England. Bonchurch Manor is an old country house which offers accommodation and the travails of running this business ac be read here.
The food created and served here is predominantly South Indian. The ethos behind the restaurant is to provide simple, fresh and non-synthetic food in a frill and fuss-free environment. To this extent, the table settings are minimal and the menu is small.
From 1st March 2008, The Tiffin Room will only open for groups of 10 or more guests. The drop in facility is no longer available.
However, a small sample of South Indian breakfast dishes will be available till 10.00 am (pre-ordered).
If you dont want to drag friends to make up the 10, the restaurant is open on some days for Drop In dining. These days are-
